Tutor/Mentor
Schools of Hope - Black Hawk Middle School
During the school day tutors work one-on-one with students in the classroom to help them understand their school work and complete assignments. After school, tutors work with students in Homework Clubs and then spend time playing with students in our open recreation program playing games and participating in fun clubs and activities. Tutors will have the opportunity to build connections with students, assist in building their confidence in academics that they struggle with, talk about college and their experience, and make a difference in a pre-teen's life.
