Friends of Lake Wingra
All Badger Volunteers are required to attend an orientation, facilitated by the Badger Volunteers Executive Board, prior to volunteering. To attend an orientation, access the Zoom links here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pPdHUVZGodhVKFelfO1l64bjXfYjfpwE4ezenTxELyw/edit?usp=sharing
No registration is required for the orientations, but you need to attend one during the week of February 1 through 5.
These volunteers would visit Lake Wingra or areas in the watershed and snap unique shots to show us the world of Wingra through their eyes. Volunteer photos could be use for things like: - Social media posts (e.g., Where in Wingra, updates on how Lake Wingra's doing) - Newsletter images or email headers - Youth education and outreach Volunteers are expected to commit to one hour a week, that fits with their schedule to take these photos and upload them to a Google Photo album for FoLW to access. You will need to provide your own access to Lake Wingra or different parts of the watershed and also your own camera to take the images.
We promote a healthy Lake Wingra through an active watershed community.
