Some examples include: - Fun Map of Wingra Watershed - Map showing attractions in Lake Wingra watershed - Maps that communicate data in a visually appealing way Volunteers will commit to one mapping project at the beginning of the semester with the guidance of FoLW. Volunteers would work on the map and provide weekly updates with FoLW advisor until the map is in final draft form. If time permits, volunteers can take on additional mapping projects. Final map products would need to be in JPG, PNG or PDF format and volunteers would need to have access to their own GIS software. Volunteers must have experience using GIS software to create maps.
