Job Title: Eviction Data Collection Specialist Department: Mediation Reports To: Mediation Coordinator Position Type: Volunteer (weekly for 3-hour shift; day/time flexible Location: Remote Job Duties: The purpose of Eviction Data Collection specialists is to assist in tracking eviction trends both over time and specific to COVID-19. The Eviction Data Collection Specialist will be responsible for data collection for tenants and landlords appearing on eviction actions at Dane County Small Claims Court. Eviction Data Collection specialists will call individuals who have utilized the services of Tenant Resource Center staff and volunteer mediators to obtain grant required demographic information. The Mediation Coordinator will provide case numbers to Eviction Data Collection Specialists to Search court records (CCAP) and to record past and current eviction hearing and trial outcomes into a shared spreadsheet. Data collected may be used to better inform programs, policies, and advocacy efforts.
