No registration is required for the orientations, but you need to attend one during the week of February 1 through 5.
We are looking for individuals to work with our high school youth program participants, primarily students involved in athletics, to help keep them on track socially, emotionally, and academically. Volunteers in this position will offer academic assistance, such as tutoring, to help ensure that school assignments are completed. Volunteers with math skills and/or a foreign language are highly encouraged to apply. *Individuals signing up for this position must understand that this position requires some initiative on their end to engage with these teens. So if you have a genuine interest in talking with teens, building relationships, and an understanding that relationships with these students will take time, this volunteer opportunity is for you.
