Community Integration and Companionship Volunteer

Central Wisconsin Center

Please consider joining us for interactive sessions with our residents with limited community options. Friendship is an immeasurable gift to give to someone. Each week you will provide this gift to someone through activities, walks, reflection services and concerts on our beautiful grounds when weather permits. Inside when weather is not cooperating! This past spring semester Badger Volunteers brought huge smiles to our residents many of whom have lived here since early childhood. The volunteers in turn left with warm hearts because of the friendship they provided. We support some of the most vulnerable medically involved people in the state so the education value you receive through volunteering at Central Wisconsin Center provides you with a fantastic learning experience all while having fun! Masks at our home are still mandatory and you will receive a surgical mask each week to don during your visit. The team should plan on pick up from cab/Uber/Lyft at 3:30pm so that you arrive on our campus by 3:50pm. The activity each week will be from 4:00pm until 5:00pm with ride pick up organized for 5:10pm and a return to campus at 5:30pm.

CWC supports people with intelectual disabilities to achieve their full potential by enhancing human development, health, enviroment and quality of life.
